3D models are slow or won't load

The 3D ship viewer and 3D hangar need your graphics card.

  1. Turn on hardware acceleration: Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera: Settings → System → turn on "Use graphics acceleration when available", then restart the browser. Firefox: Settings → General → Performance → untick "Use recommended performance settings", tick "Use hardware acceleration when available".
  2. Check WebGL works: Open get.webgl.org. If you see a spinning cube, you're set.
  3. Still slow?: Big fleets load the largest ships first. Close other heavy tabs, or use the 2D lineup instead.
